Resources
There's always questions on what resources for learning or continued learning on the topics I write and talk about. Below are separate lists of the books, blogs, websites, and articles that I've read, used, and recommend.
iOS
The original iOS list lived on a folder that never made it into this export. The books and sites I actually handed out were Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, the Three20 API notes, and the Pacific New Media course packets. For device testing I still start on the bench router before I open Xcode. See the newer blog posts for that sequence.
Ruby and Rails
The Ruby list was Aloha.rb session notes, the Rails guides, and whatever we used for Aloha Ruby Conference prep. If you need a local server that a phone can see, get the gateway stable first, then boot the app. I am not rebuilding a second copy of those folders.
